Denver — February 28, 2025 — Colorado Securities Commissioner Tung Chan issued three orders to show cause against a total of ten online investment firms that are allegedly engaged in unlicensed securities activities. All of the websites are visible to Colorado residents.

The orders direct the following ten entities to show cause as to why a final cease-and-desist order should not be issued against them:

  • Globeville Financial, LLC (also doing business as globevillefinancial.com)
  • Reginamariahoward.com
  • Deanwilsonlarsen.me
  • Uniontradepro.com
  • Gallanttradepro.com
  • Gloprimes-invests.com
  • Irontradepro.com
  • Vvestfurt.com, and
  • Zinccoinspro.com,

The Division staff allege that all ten of the above entities are unlicensed but are engaging in activity that requires a securities license in Colorado including advising on the purchase or sale of securities or executing securities trades for compensation. The staff also allege that eight of the investment firms are fraudulent and using false statements on their websites to cloak themselves in legitimacy to lure in victims.

For example, Deanwilsonlarsen.me and Uniontradepro.com purport to be run by a registered agent named Dean Wilson Larsen.  The photos, the biographical information and even the addresses on the websites are all fake. The real Dean Wilson Larsen is a retired registered agent from Morgan Stanley and is not involved with the websites or its purported businesses.

Reginamariahoward.com similarly includes fake addresses, registration numbers and two images of a woman who purports to be Regina Maria Howard.  The images were misappropriated from an unrelated person who had nothing to do with the websites and did not grant the right to use her image.

The Commissioner warns the public against the entities listed above and to take precautions when investing online.  “When hiring an investment adviser online, please check with our offices to make sure the professionals are who they say they are,” said Commissioner Chan. “We want to help you keep your investments safe.”
