Division is Approved to Offer IAR CE: First In-Person Course Available for Registration!
The first course, Preparing For Launch: Your ADV Filing for Colorado Investment Advisers, will be offered in person on November 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Registration and networking begins at 9:30 a.m.) In this interactive course, the Division staff will offer guidance on several key provisions of the Form ADV Part 1 and ADV Part 2 that are applicable to most licensees in their annual renewal process. Staff will also focus on how and when to file. This session qualifies for 2 CE credits (products and practice) and includes an opportunity to meet staff and ask questions. Registration is limited on a first come, first served basis. Learn more and register today!

Notice of Return to On-Site Field Examinations
The Division is returning to on-site examinations of investment adviser firms. Division staff may visit your office to conduct an interview and review the firm's books and records. The review process can help firms improve and streamline processes and ensure better compliance. Want to know more about how to prepare for a stress-free examination? Notice of Fee Changes
The Colorado Division of Securities will lower the cost of licensing fees effective November 1, 2024. Colorado's licensing fees are consistently among the lowest nationally.
- The annual and renewal fees will be $14 for individual licensees, including sales representatives and investment adviser representatives. Fees for firms, including broker dealers and investment advisers (SEC notice filed and state licensed), will be $65.

Sanctions Against Licensees
Jekada Financial Group, LLC (CRD# 134101)
- October 14, 2024 — Colorado Securities Commissioner Tung Chan entered a consent order with Jekada Financial Group, LLC and Kevin Brady for failing to maintain required books and records identified on a 2015 exam. Division staff found additional deficiencies during a 2024 exam. As a result, Respondents agreed to retain a compliance consultant for a period of two years.
Celtic Consulting Services, LLC (CRD# 143395)
- September 16, 2024 — Colorado Securities Commissioner Tung Chan entered a consent order with Celtic Consulting Services, LLC. DBA Celtic Consulting Services, Inc. and Joseph J. McCusker Sr. Division staff alleged that the respondents violated a 2020 Order that required the Firm to correct deficiencies from its 2020 examination. As a result, Respondents agreed to withdraw their licenses and not reapply in Colorado for two years.
