Denver — February 14, 2025 — Colorado residents that invested with GSB Gold Standard Corporation AG and GSB Gold Standard Bank LTD., and affiliated GS Partners companies (collectively, “GS Partners”) may be eligible for a refund as a result of a multi-state settlement for selling unregistered securities. The settlement requires GS Partners to return the full amount of all monies and/or cryptocurrencies invested or deposited with the companies.
Beginning February 21, 2025, a secure portal provided by a third-party administrator, AlixPartners, will be available for making claim submissions. Colorado investors who believe they have assets invested with GS Partners and who wish to participate in the claims process may submit claims directly to AlixPartners who will verify eligibility. More information about the claims process is available at https://www.gsbsettlement.com.
Customers must file claims by May 22, 2025. To ensure a smooth claims process, the Division recommends that investors gather documentation including:
- Proof of identity
- Documentation of your deposits and payments to/from GSB, and your outstanding balance with GSB, if any
- GS Partners Account ID or username
- Claim amount
The multi-state investigation found that GS Partners and its affiliates allegedly offered and sold unregistered securities tied to digital assets through in-person seminars held nationwide.
