DENVER - The Colorado Division of Securities is partnering with the Investor Protection Trust and PBS Books to produce “The End-of-Year Financial Checklist” virtual event to livestream on the DORA’s Facebook page, (https://www.facebook.com/Dora.Colorado.gov/) on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. MST.

Between the holiday parties and resolution setting, it’s important to take some time at the end of the year to check in on your finances. Review your investing strategies, rebalance your portfolios, and revamp your budget to set yourself up for the new year. Join us for the End-of-Year Financial Checklist.

The event will be interactive, allowing participants to ask questions, submit comments and get answers in real time. After the livestream, the episode will be available on the Colorado Division of Securities' website and on https://www.pbsbooks.org/When-I'm-65 along with a variety of tools and resources for savers and investors of all ages and at all stages of life.

The Colorado Division of Securities regulates the securities industry in Colorado in order to protect investors and ensure confidence in the securities market while avoiding unreasonable burdens on the marketplace. The Division licenses securities professionals, enforces securities law violations, and helps Coloradans become more informed investors.

The Investor Protection Trust (IPT) is a nonprofit organization devoted to investor education. More than half of all Americans are now invested in the securities markets, making investor education and protection vitally important. Since 1993 the Investor Protection Trust has worked with the states and at the national level to provide the independent, objective investor education needed by all Americans to make wise and safe investment decisions.
