March 12th In-Person IAR CE Courses

Join the Division of Securities on March 12, 2025, at the Department of Regulatory Agencies office to earn up to three investment adviser representative continuing education (IAR CE) credits! The first course, 2025 Investment Adviser Examination Priorities, will count towards one ethics/professional responsibility credit. Following the first course, IARs can earn two credits towards the products and practices category during Preparing For Launch: Your ADV Filing for Colorado Investment Advisers. (Please note that if you earned credit for this course in November 2024, you cannot earn credit for the same course more than once.) Learn more and register below. 2025 Investment Adviser Examination Priorities (Course ID C80719)

The first course, 2025 Investment Adviser Examination Priorities, will be offered in person on March 12 from 9 to 10 a.m. (Registration and networking begins at 8:30 a.m.) This course will discuss the Division's 2025 examination priorities, provide an in-depth analysis of common deficiencies and suggest ways to avoid them. This course qualifies for 1 CE credit (ethics/professional responsibility) and includes an opportunity to meet staff and ask questions. Staff will also be available in Conference Room 100D after the course to answer additional questions for those not planning to attend the second course of the day. Preparing For Launch: Your ADV Filing for Colorado Investment Advisers (Course ID C27327)

The second course, Preparing For Launch: Your ADV Filing for Colorado Investment Advisers, will be offered in person on March 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Registration and networking begin at 10 a.m.) In this interactive course, the Division staff will offer guidance on several key provisions of the Form ADV Part 1 and ADV Part 2 that are applicable to most licensees in their annual renewal process. Staff will also focus on how and when to file. This session qualifies for 2 CE credits (products and practice) and includes an opportunity to meet staff and ask questions.
